Alex scored 13 of his NHL leading 56 goals while wearing this jersey during the 2008-09 season. In fact, he scored more goals wearing this jersey than he did wearing any other jersey in the 2008-09 season. Alex won the Hart trophy as the league's MVP for the second straight season. He also won the Pearson Award for being voted the most outstanding player by the Players Association and the Richard trophy for leading the league in goals.
